Snake catcher accused of stealing bike: Scottsdale, Arizona. - A valley window washer we profiled in April, who calls himself the "rattlesnake whisperer," has been accused of stealing an expensive bike and trying to sell it online. Officers say Steven Salamone took a beach cruiser last month from the Tommy Bahama Store at Kierland commons. The bike was worth nearly $3,000.

Phoenix police say he tried to sell it for a thousand dollars on Craigslist. Detectives who saw the ads met up with him on Monday. They took him into custody after they say he gave them conflicting stories -- and the store confirmed he's the suspected thief. We interviewed Salamone four months ago when he caught a rattlesnake with his bare hands. He was working in north Scottsdale when he came across the snake.
