New premises for expanding King’s Lynn business: The future is looking bright for a Lynn cleaning company which has grown from a one-man band to an operation which employs more than 100 people and has contracts all over East Anglia. Bright’s Cleaning Services (UK) belongs to Marcus Mallett who first set up in business 18 years ago working on his own as a window cleaner. There are now four separate companies in the Bright’s Group and the latest chapter in the success story is a move to new premises which are big enough to cope with further expansion.

Marcus bought the former Royal Mail transport workshop in Austin Fields last year and has transferred there from a previous base on the North Lynn industrial estate. “We have called it Bright’s Court,” he said. “It has easy access and will give us scope to expand further and put Bright’s Cleaning Services firmly on the map.” There are four companies covered by the Bright’s Group. Mr Bright’s is a specialist cleaning company for high access and window cleaning, ‘clean room’ cleans and kitchen/extractor cleans, while Brights Cleaning Services is a contract operation supplying cleaners for retail clients, schools, colleges, doctors’ surgeries and offices and also carrying out ground maintenance services.

Dolly Dusters is a holiday let and domestic cleaning and laundry service and Bright’s is an additional company which supplies janitorial and paper products. Local clients include Bespak, Freebridge Community Housing and Williams Refrigeration.
