Van Gogh Style Attack On Cleaner - New York

Box-Cutter Reprisal - A 51-year-old man suffered a cut to his earlobe in retaliation for him accidentally spraying water into another man’s window, police said. At about 4 p.m. on Aug. 5, the victim was cleaning the outside of a building on Lafayette Avenue between Classon Avenue and Grand Avenue, when the water accidentally went through a man’s apartment window, witnesses told police. After the squirt of water, the attacker went to the first floor hallway of the building and cut the man’s left earlobe with a box-cutter, police said.

Julio Davila, 51, was arrested at 4:24 p.m. that day, police said. He has been charged with assault in the second and third degrees, menacing in the second and third degrees, harassment in the second degree, and criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree, according to the Kings County District Attorney’s office.
