Biggest UK Window Cleaning Show Saturday

A long tent for some long waterfed poles! Only kidding, there will be a WFP tower outside as well.
The biggest Window Cleaning Show in the UK kicks off Saturday morning, hence this will be my last blog for the week as I set off from Spain to be there. It's shaping up to be a huge event for suppliers & window cleaners, in fact - the biggest window cleaning show England has ever seen. The first window cleaning show organised by Mark Munro was such a huge success, it has attracted many more suppliers. More information can be found here on a previous blog.

There are special events & a competition timetable. When you've finished playing with all of those great window cleaning tools and maybe bought a few of them, enjoyed all of the demonstrations and introduced yourself to everyone you've been chatting to online why not stay on as there is a licensed bar which will be serving alcoholic drinks from 6pm until the early hours of Sunday morning along with a Dj playing lots of great music.

There will also be competitions in the evening with some fantastic prizes so don't rush off home, the show isn't all business we're here to have fun too and get to know each other.

Wagtail reveal it's newest creation, this will change the way we window clean!
The separate Wagtail tent, under construction.
You can find Willie Erken, Terry Burrows & myself in the V.I.P. Wagtail tent if you have any questions & for the unveiling of the newest Wagtail product. See here for Wagtail at the last WCP show.

Dorset Window Cleaning Trade Show - May 9th

Click to enlarge. Hey, that's me with my back to you (on the right).
WCP Trade Show in Dorset - May 9th 2015. Freshwater Beach Holiday Park, Burton Bradstock, Bridport, Dorset, DT6 4PT. Mark Munro says "I'd like to let you know about the WCP Tradeshow being held on 9th May 2015, this will be the biggest window cleaning show ever in the UK."

This show is going to be like no other that you have been to before and it will be full of the most amazing suppliers as you can see from the list below. During the day (10.00 am - 4 pm) there will be lots of window cleaning demonstrations and a few competitions, there will also be a licensed bar and food available as well.

Then if you would like to stay on longer, in the evening there will be a licensed bar available with music, auctions and raffles in aid of Cancer Research where we can all meet up for a chat. As the venue is a holiday camp, there is plenty to do (indoor/outdoor pools, bowling) so you could stay for more than the day if you wanted.

Event plan & layout - click to enlarge. It's still not to late to book for the show if you are interested in showing your business off!

Wagtail At The Dorset Window Cleaning Show

Willie Erken, Director of Wagtail Pivotal Tools shows off his game changer at the WCP window cleaning show.
Wagtail at the Dorset Window Cleaning Show: Wagtail pivotal tools were a huge draw at the WCP window cleaning trade & van show organised by Mark Munro in Bradstock Burton in Dorset. Willie Erken showed how his new waterfed pole pivoting brush & waterfed pole swivelling pad aid in cleaning windows & also his new pole that extends from the bottom instead of the top. Some more lightweight poles are shown as well as his compound angle that mimics the wrist & his older angle adapter that could also fit at the other end of the pole for a double whammy action.

On the day, Wagtail drew quite an audience with the window cleaning public, many of who had only heard of Wagtail but not seen the tools in action. Willie came all the way from Australia to feature not only his popular range of squeegees but also many adaptations which are able to wet the window as well as clean at the same time (one-pass), but also his popular range of flippers. The videos below are best seen on youtube for full HD quality. Lee Burbidge from Window Cleaning Magazine UK were also there to take in the event & we await with baited breath the high quality film once it's edited.

The "Pied Wagtail" was also seen flying around the event, a local migrating bird that 'just' happened to be there at the same time as his namesake from Australia. Willie even brought his own brand of wine to the event to celebrate the occasion (seen above)... which kept the riff-raff away!

The show was a credit to Mark Munro who put on an amazing show out of his own pocket. Many big names showed up for the event, photos to come! Even Willies brother - Peter, of Window Cleaning World, made it over to network with other window cleaners on the day.

Some attendees were lucky to pick up the night action squeegee.
