San Antonio Window Washer Stranded

San Antonio police say the man was able to break a window and climb to safety.
Storm causes window washer to dangle from skyscraper (SAN ANTONIO, Texas) -- There were some scary moments as a storm blew through San Antonio Monday. Strong storms caused a window washer to almost fall 10 stories from a building. Witness say they could see the washer dangling from the scaffolding at the Bank of America Plaza. San Antonio police say the man was able to break a window and climb to safety. No injuries were reported.

Window washer stranded outside high-rise, breaks glass to escape: SAN ANTONIO - A window washer broke through a window after he apparently became trapped outside a Downtown high-rise. Emergency crews were called to the Bank of America building at 300 Convent around 1:30 p.m. Monday. The window washer was on a suspended scaffold at the 10th floor, when he realized he could not get down. Storms were moving through the Downtown area at the time. No serious injuries were reported.

Window Washing Crew Caught off Guard by High Winds: Storms that rolled through San Antonio Monday afternoon created a terrifying day on the job for window washers at the Bank of America building on Convent. The winds twisted the cables of the workers' scaffolding. Several workers were on it at the time. The scaffolding shattered one of the building's windows. Those workers managed to crawl inside the building to safety. No one was hurt. Glass did fall down on the street but no one was hit.
