International Window Cleaning Association - Voting Begins

Fellow IWCA Member...

This is Chris Lambrinides, owner of All County Window Cleaning in New Jersey. I have been a loyal IWCA member since 2002. I am contacting you today to alert you that I am running to be a director of the board of or our great organization, the IWCA.

Nine years ago I had some basic equipment, a hand full of fliers and a lot of drive. In that nine years I have built the East coasts largest residential Window Cleaning company and developed considerable business skills.

I believe my strong business experience would benefit the future of the IWCA. I have given and will keep giving to our industry. Please vote for me in the upcoming election. I will not let you down. Below you will find my bio so you can get to know a little bit more about me before you fill out your ballot. If you have any questions for me before you vote, please feel free to contact me directly:

Chris Lambrinides Bio'

Lambrinides is the founder and CEO of All County Window Cleaning. What started as a college side job for Chris 9 years ago, has now developed into the largest residential window cleaning company on the east coast. Employing a staff of 55, All County Window Cleaning's primary focus is residential window cleaning and storefront window cleaning routes.

Lambrinides has been a member of the IWCA for the past seven years and is currently serving as a member of the IWCA Convention committee. In addition, he also is a member of MWCOA.

As an IWCA Director, Lambrinides would focus on enhancing the residential program as well as expanding the education opportunities offered during the annual conventions. He would bring his skills as a business owner to help mentor other window cleaners in order to help them achieve their professional goals in the industry. Currently he mentors over two-dozen window cleaning companies across the United States. There is an open door policy at All County Window Cleaning and window cleaners from around the country spend up to a week at a time visiting and learning.

All County Window Cleaning has a firm position on fabricating debris and poor quality glass issues. Lambrinides plans on making poor quality glass issues a top priority if elected.

Tool Talk & President Obama

Mark Strange of "Beautiful View" from Toronto, Canada gives us a few more unbiased reviews of products in the window cleaners workplace. This time his opinion on Triumph Scrapers, Triumph holsters & the Scraper mate Mk 3.

US voters went to the polls yesterday & chose Barack Obama as their new President elect. The long lines seen throughout the day didn't dissuade voters. In fact, the wait was fine with Jonathan Carter, the 56-year-old operator of a window-cleaning business. He noted the 300 voters ahead of him at Central Bucks High School South in Warrington and resigned himself to being late for work. "Think how hard it was to vote 100 years ago," Carter said philosophically. He labeled this election "incredibly historic," noting that a black man was on the presidential ballot 40 years after King was shot advocating racial equality. "I think that's amazing," he said, though it wasn't remarkable enough to preclude him from voting for Sen. John McCain. Obama's talk of "spreading the wealth" turned Carter off.

Another window cleaner gave his view in Fullton Mall, New York..

American Window Cleaners Vote

With the US election in its final days for, we ask the American window cleaners out there to reconsider who will be their final choice when they go to the voting booth. Squeegee-Man puts out his last ditch effort to sway voters as the election countdown nears its end.

"The idea that you can merchandise candidates for high office like breakfast cereal is the ultimate indignity to the democratic process." -Democratic candidate Adlai Stevenson, 1956.

"Television is no gimmick, and nobody will ever be elected to major office again without presenting themselves well on it." -Television producer and Nixon campaign consultant Roger Ailes, 1968.

Take a look at the previous campaign commercials & see how the trend differs in marketing from early TV to the present. Heres a video that may just sway your vote...I hope not!
