Scaffold Rescue In Manhattan - A worker ended up dangling six stories from the street when he had problems on his window-washing scaffold. It happened during lunchtime Monday in Gramercy Park. The unidentified man fell off of the scaffolding but his safety harness kept him from plunging to the street below. The NYPD was able to use a ladder to get to the man and safely return him to the ground. He was welcomed by the cheers of the crowd that had gathered to watch the events unfold.
