Calgary Con Artist, Five Questions & Messiest Home

Beware of window washer: Consumers should be aware of a window washer going door to door in the southwest. The man knocked on Donna Riback's door and offered to wash her windows and clean her eavestroughs. Riback says the man told her Lea Williams-Doherty was one of his satisfied clients who'd used his services. Riback says he took her money and started cleaning the eavestroughs but never finished. Several days after the window washer disappeared, Riback found out she wasn't the only one who'd been taken. Her neighbour had been targeted by the man. He borrowed some of their tools after saying he was Riback's handyman. Consumer Watch specialist, Lea Williams-Doherty says don't be tempted to hire people on the spot. Instead, take the time to check out their stories before you agree to any work.

Five questions: Lyle Bolton has been keeping Nanaimo's windows squeaky clean for the past 15 years. High above the hustle and bustle on the streets below, this window-washer quietly goes about his work to make sure everyone has a clear view from the inside out. Clear views are also personally important to Bolton, who is passionate about his religion.
If you could have dinner with one person, dead or alive, who would it be and why?
"When I accepted the Lord Jesus into my life, I repented, and gained everlasting life. When I pray to Jesus for counselling, he answers my prayers. When I read his precious words in the Bible, I get the answers. I become more focused on doing right, to reach a goal to become blameless. The only way to God is through Jesus. When I leave this Earth, then I will be with Jesus. For these reasons and more I would love to have dinner with Jesus. Jesus is still alive and is in heaven."
What is the best piece of advice you've ever received and who gave it to you?
"In 1998 I went to a gathering where there was preaching and singing of gospel songs, all to worship God. I was called to the alter and I got saved. The preachers kept saying to accept Jesus as your saviour and I did."
If you could relive one moment in your life what would it be?
"I wouldn't want to change anything in my life. I believe God has a plan for everyone, and the life that has brought me here is because God wanted it that way."
What are five things you can't live without and why?
"I can't live without Jesus. I read the Bible every day, and gain wisdom in order to live like Jesus. I can't live without my church. Since I have been attending Lighthouse Baptist Church, I have been gaining God's wisdom. The pastor leads me to scripture for every question I have. I can't live without my wife. My wife Laurie and I met in 2003. With both of us living in God's word, there is a peace and love, that is true love. God is strengthening our marriage, and keeps on blessing it. I can't live without reading my Bible every day. There is so much negativity in the world today. When I read my bible, I find hope and love and peace. I can't live without love, hope and peace. Anyone can tell you that, if you don't have these, you end up living a lonely life. Every one needs to be loved. If you aren't loved by someone, then you don't feel needed. Then you will lose hope."
If you were granted one wish what would it be and why?
"As you have read, I am not superstitious. I rely on what God says to me through reading the Bible, or through the Pastor, or through one of his children. FROG 'Fully Rely On God.' "

Anyone who cleans the inside windows will find this riveting...
