The Bucket Bum

More great advertising from the window cleaning world, this time from 5 star window cleaning, serving Southern Utah & surrounding areas. And introducing us to the 'bucket bum.'

In 1994, Jared McBride was walking in downtown Salt Lake City. He looked up and saw a high rise window cleaner lowering himself down the side of a skyscraper. Jared yelled up to the window cleaner, “How do I get a job doing that?” At the time, Jared McBride was a full time student working his way through college. Jared felt that window cleaning was a perfect job for him, because of his mountain climbing experience and background. However, the first few times he began descending down the side of buildings over four hundred feet tall, he wondered what he had gotten himself into. “It was quite an experience, but eventually it became more and more comfortable,” said Jared. He started professionally cleaning windows in Salt Lake City in 1994 and has cleaned all the major government buildings and skyscrapers in the area including: The State Capital, Federal Building, Governors Mansion, American Towers, Utah One Center, Delta Center, E Center and many others. He also cleaned windows at the major universities in Northern Utah including, University of Utah, Brigham Young University, Utah State, & Weber State. He cleaned business and residential windows in areas such as Park City and Salt Lake City, Utah. (While in Florida and California he has also cleaned windows professionally) Jennie and Jared McBride began 5-STAR Professional Window Cleaning in the spring of 2007. They provide professional window cleaning to residents, business and the government in the southern Utah area. They love serving people, and making other peoples lives easier and a little brighter. Jared and Jennie love the Spirit of Dixie. They plan on having children and raising them here in St. George, Utah.
